Below are links to the four "Horse Sense" columns that appeared in FAMA magazine from January to July of 2001. The column was originally conceived and authored by Christopher Burns and Carol Cozzi-Schmarr of Ocean Rider. With respect to permission issues, Carol's input has been omitted.
"Horse Sense" was a ground-breaking column - the first magazine column dedicated to the husbandry of seahorses. The final unpublished column, July 2001, appears in its entirety, and was authored solely by Christopher Burns. It reflects a shift from the more "product-specific" approach found in the current manifestaion of this column to a more truthful information-sharing approach.
